Launch of the 2013–14 EnAbling Change Program

We are pleased to launch the 2013–14 EnAbling Change Program. We are looking for non-profit organizations that want to be leaders in accessibility.

The EnAbling Change Program is an initiative of the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario (ADO) that provides financial support and expertise to organizations to educate an industry or sector across the province on its obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

The program funds a limited number of large-scale projects that have an impact across the province. The program also funds projects that meet additional goals such as developing innovative approaches to increasing accessibility awareness and that promote Ontario as a world leader in accessibility.

Any projected funded will require an evaluation component to measure the outcomes against the objectives.

New this year

EnAbling Change applications are made through Grants Ontario, an online grant application system.

Applying for a grant is as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. The first step is to create your ONe-key account and ID. ONe-key is used for secure access to the Government of Ontario system.
  2. Next you request an Enrolment ID and PIN that will give you access to the Grants Ontario System.
  3. The last step is to log into the Grants Ontario System using your new ID and PIN. From here you can continue to apply for a grant.

The deadline to submit complete your EnAbling Change application through Grants Ontario is Monday February 4, 2013.
