 A theatre training program for our youth  –  September 13- December 13, 2014Aluna Theatre is pleased to invite hispanic youth ages 17 to 27 to participate in the Young Panamerican Vo(i)ces theatre training program, taking place in Toronto every Saturday from 1p.m.-6p.m. starting September 13 and going until December 13, 2014. Participants will receive classes in acting, dance, text and movement for the theatre.Aluna YPV 2How to register

1) All those interested should call Beatriz Pizano at 416 203 2535 before September 4th for a phone interview.

2) Candidates will be asked to attend a group audition on Saturday September 6th at 3:00p.m. at the Aluna theatre space:

1 Wiltshire Ave. Unit 124 Toronto, On M6N2V7

Cost:

The program is FREE of charge but we do require punctuality and commitment to attend all sessions.

2013 Program:

With a fabulous team of Artist-Educators, including acting coaches Anita La Selva, Beatriz Pizano, and Liliana Suarez-Henao, Musical Director Brandon Valdivia, and Dance coach Lilia Leon.

Eleven youth took part in this three-month pilot project:  Gastón Pistán, Kaia Moreno, Omar Sánchez, Jorge Cantor, Susy González, Nathan Marc-Ali, Javiera Millar, Luis Delgado, Sergio Ordóñez, María Plaja, Victoria Mejicano.

This project was made possible, in part, through Theatre Ontario’s Youth Theatre Training Program, funded by the Ontario Arts Council.
