INTERESTED IN CONTRIBUTING TO A RESEARCH PROCESS?

What is the overall concept? A second phase investigation into the nature of collaborative practices. We are engaging in research that will lead to a report “Tilling the Field: Unfolding Artistic and Organizational Collaborative Practices.”

Why are we doing it? We believe systemic change is more effectively achieved through collective creative investigation, we seek to learn from the Arts nationally how and in what ways do we work collaboratively.

What do we hope to get from it? To understand and document how collaborations are achieved.The report will achieve a better understanding of the challenges and successes of working collaboratively.

 Why is it important now? Funding opportunities are shifting. CPAMO feels new directions /strategic plans to work collaboratively are crucial for arts organizations and artists. In responding with real experiences, we aim to provide a resource for emerging to established artists / organizations.

What we hope to achieve? We hope that through a publically archived report, where we have a better understanding of what our colleagues are working with collaboratively. Please note that privacy issues around information will be taken into consideration when collecting any data/information.
