Scarborough Arts Centre – Public Consultation

Scarborough Arts is announcing its intent to launch a new location, the Scarborough Arts Centre, in the next few years. Currently in the planning stage, the Scarborough Arts Centre will be the first of its kind in Scarborough: a centrally-located accessible arts hub that will provide space for activities that bring community to the arts and artists to the community. Responding to identified needs among artists and community members of all ages for accessible space for arts activities, exhibitions, workshops and meetings, the Scarborough Arts Centre will also provide an opportunity for Scarborough Arts to increase its impact in the community.

Join us on June 25th from 7:00 – 9:00pm at a Public Consultation designed to gather community feedback in terms of space, location and potential programming and ensure that the process is responsive to community needs. Are you an artist, arts or community worker, organization representative or interested local resident? We want to hear from you!

Space is limited. RSVP now at http://www.eventbrite.ca/event/6559065341
